Procurement Data Analyst Praha

This position will play a key role in supporting Procurement Analytics team (AVI) in the ongoing migrations of platforms & databases, primarily Tableau to Power BI and SQL to Snowflake database by performing data analysis, validation, and dashboard development tasks. This role involves working closely with procurement stakeholders and internal team to ensure accurate translation of business metrics and visualizations, maintaining data quality, and enabling effective decision-making through insightful reporting.
Responsible for importing, cleansing, validating, and analyzing data with the purpose of understanding or drawing conclusions from the data. May consolidate and/or present data in charts, graphs, or tables. Focused on improving data quality. Works with moderate work direction and is skilled and knowledgeable to the position.
This position would typically include senior Data Analyst with extensive prior experience. Generally, has ability to work with other departments and management to determine organizational goals, pinpoint trends, correlations and patterns in complicated data sets. Able to provide supervision, training and mentoring to junior analysts within the department.

Fluent English
Experience in Power BI and SQL is an asset
University degree (fresh graduates welcome)

Support Ongoing migrations of platforms & databases, primarily Tableau to Power BI & SQL to Snowflake database.
Develop, maintain, and enhance Power BI dashboards ensuring parity with existing Tableau dashboards.
Translate Tableau calculations, including LOD (Level of Detail) expressions and parameters, into Power BI DAX and Power Query logic.
Clean, validate, and analyze data while maintaining dashboards in an interim state that integrates both legacy and migrated data, ensuring accurate calculations, procedures, and logic during platform transitions.
Collaborate with procurement teams to understand business requirements and deliver actionable insights.
Troubleshoot data and dashboard issues during migration and post-deployment.
Prepare technical and functional documentation related to dashboards and data models.
Assist in training end-users on new Power BI dashboards and reports.
Support data quality improvement initiatives and ensure consistency across data sources (SQL Server, Snowflake).
Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide status updates and gather feedback.
