Sr. SAP HCM Consultant - remote within Czechia Praha

Our client, a global leader in the production of high-grade refractory materials, which are essential for all high-temperature industrial processes, is seeking a Senior HCM SAP Consultant.


You'll be a key member of the HR IT Product team, reporting directly to the Head of Human Resources Software Configuration. Your main responsibility is to design and implement software solutions within the SAP system that meet the company's needs. This involves both customizing existing applications and developing new features.

your role

* Design and Development: You will create conceptual designs for applications and their interfaces. This includes customizing existing software and developing new solutions to meet RHI Magnesita's specific requirements.
* System Support and Stabilization: In the event of critical issues, you will work closely with global process experts (GPEs) and key users to quickly find workarounds and resolve the problem. You'll also provide second- and third-level support, focusing on root cause analysis to ensure system stability.
* Project Leadership and Collaboration: You will actively lead and participate in task forces to resolve complex issues and stabilize the system. You'll also collaborate with global teams on projects, requests, and issues related to Attract_to_grow (AtG) processes, which likely refers to internal talent acquisition and development.
* Training and Knowledge Transfer: You will conduct workshops and training sessions to help users better understand the implemented processes and provide ongoing support.

what we expect

* Expertise: You possess extensive knowledge of the SAP HCM system, with practical experience in Payroll and/or Time Management solutions and their integration with SAP ERP.
* Technical Skills: Knowledge of ABAP programming is highly beneficial. Experience with SAP SuccessFactors or SAP Concur is also a plus.
* Languages: You must be proficient in both English and Czech.
* Experience: You should have several years of experience as an HCM SAP consultant in an international environment. This includes experience in software development and providing support to users, ideally using standard IT service management tools like Solman or ServiceNow.
